I'm using a pull-type 5' shredder behind my 140 hi-clear. Its got the standard drawbar that I got from a junkyard. The hitch point is only about 4" behind the end of the pto shaft. When using the bush hog I'm afraid to make any more than the slightest turn because the gears in the 140's gearbox start to make a lot of noise and vibration increases a lot. Do I have the wrong drawbar? Can I make turns with less strain on the gearbox with a drawbar extension that puts the hitch point at least 14" behind the pto shaft? Something's not right about my hook-up. Thanks for any suggestions.
