SMTA Carb Rebuild

Starting in on the newest addition to the family. The SMTA carb was leaking profusely. When I pulled the air intake hose, about a cup of gas poured out. So I pulled the fuel line, strainer, and carb. Strainer had what looked like a melted tootsie roll in the bottom. Carb is total goo. I have rebuilt a lot of carbs, but this one does not appear a candidate for "amateur" fix. Needs an internal cleaning that only the pros can do. Who would you guys recommend? And what is a fair price? One advertiser in RED POWER, gets $150, and then toss in 2 way ship for another 20.00.
