I'm looking at a Farmall 706 with the 282 diesel. They are asking $4900. Paint is fair and tires are 30%. Good brakes, fast hitch, 56 series shift. Has IH WFE, New TA, new clutch, engine overhauled (sleeves pistons, bearings, head rebuilt). Is this a good price? I know the 706 with German diesel is highly sought after. How about the 282? Anything to watch out for on the 282 diesel? Is the fast hitch easy to convert to 3pt? Anybody know where you can buy the mounting plate (for top link) and 3pt arms to go in 2pt sockets?
