thanks for the advice - I figured as much on the wrench and
went and bought the cheapest openb end wrenches I could find
(10 pieces - $12) then started cutting them in half to have room
to turn them. Thanks for the 7/8" - I had started out by cutting
the 3/4" wrench. This will save me time.

After posting last night I noticved the existying radiator cap
actually says 'fuel' on it under the paint, so I'll correct that
problem
