I need to replace the oil seals on an h (countershaft and transmission drive). I am not sure if anyone can help me via a discussion forum as it might be hard to explain in writing, but I thought I"d give it a try. I don"t know anyone around here who can help me. I did an archive search and couldn"t find any specifics, just that it could be done through the belly plate, that it was relatively simple but requires some grunt work and a buddy. I don"t have a lift-all pump, so there"s nothing in the way. I don"t know what the oil seals even look like or what they are made of. The diagrams in the IT manual are far too small and undetailed to see. Are the seals "felt"or gasket material, or cork? Do they come with a gasket kit, or do I have to order them special from Case-IH. If so, does anyone know the part numbers? Any directions on how to go about this would be *greatly* appreciated. With kind regards, Tony
