Perdue Ag, the new oil seal will be a neoprene material much narrower than the original seal but they work well. Once you have the belly pan off you need to remove the three drive shaft bolts and , likewise at the opposite end remove the shaft, then you can get a wrench( smallpipe wrench or channel locks) on the flange of the seal and loosen it off and remove it,the seal should come out with a seal puller, some guys put a couple of metal screws into the seal casing and then pull it out with a plier. Be careful not to disturb anything behind the seal, be patient and with pliers, small screwdriver, picking chisel, you will get the seal out. The new seal will gently tap in with a small block of wood or a seal driver if you have one. Do both the drive shaft seal and the seal for the liftall even if you don't have a liftall...then both seals are new and you don't have to mess with it again...good luck give me a ping if you need more help...Mike in Exeter Ontario
