My experience with a '70 826 was not satisfactory. I purchased ours with 3000 hrs, 2nd owner, looked like new. Rebuilt engine due to cavitation of sleeves first winter. Even with new engine difficult starting, not enough power to pull 18 ft digger satisfactorily, 15 ft disc was ok. Kept it for 5 years, traded for a '78 1086 with 1900 hrs, (1991). Very glad to have gotten my money out it. Items to look for, added water conditioner, condition of spindles, steering arm splines get worn and are difficult to keep tight.
