Thank you very much!, you certainly know your stuff. I got it back in neutral and the bottom of the shifter is all worn and mashed down, been rounded on both sides. I will have this built back up before reinstalling the lever. rails are worn too, but do you think I'll get lots of life out of them yet, or should I consider swapping the trans and rearend off a junk H that I have that threw a rod, that trans never gave any trouble.
