If I were trying to solve your problem, hands on, I would start by checking the fuel flow from the tank to the carburetor. Remove the fuel line at the carb and turn on the fuel. If it flows freely, reinstall it and open the drain plug on the bottom of the carburetor. Turn on the gas and see if it flows freely. If so, probably still some passages plugged in the carburetor. It sounds as you have a weak fuel flow that provides a small amount of gas to the carburetor, but not enough flow to keep her running. In other words, your carburetor if running out of gas, even though there is fuel in the tank. Hope you get her running. The "H" is a nice machine.
