Dad parked H about a year before he passed 3 years ago. Brother and decided to get old girl running. Tank clean as a whistle (in the catagory of the Lord looking after fools). Took carb off and soaked in Gunk bucket for 48 hours. Blew out all passages, and I thought very carefully assembled. Put carb back on and started instantly, then just as instantly quit. It will start and run with the choke all the way on, so I took carb back off and re-cleaned with spray bomb. Checked all settings and passages and VERY carefully re-assembled. Still does the same thing. Gas carb and engine (X1 suffix). Sprayed ether around intake gasket with it running to check for leaks, none found. Checked magneto points, and timing just in case something there. HELP! This is the only IH we own, (we farm with Oliver/White as dealer was only 2 miles away till he closed) but it was Dads "pet" and we HAVE to fix it.
