This is a common problem on the band brakes. Like the other guys are saying, it can be the cam plates on the shaft. But it can also be that the aftermarket brake bands are just a little too long. Do you still have your old ones? Lay them next to the new ones and compare the length of the band itself. If you can find a shop that still will reline brakes, they could set them up correctly with the right thickness of lining. On my own H, I was going to try cutting the band, remove perhaps 3/16" and rewelding it with a wire feed welder. Just don"t all jump on me for "tampering" with my brakes. Paul
