Could be lots of things mentioned above. OR More like
balls and springs need cleaned inbetween the disc (the
caliper) OR what we found out on our 400 was the
brake shaft witch the disc slide on have grooves in
them dad took a smale file and filed them smooth and
no problems for about 3 years now! Work perfect, we tried new balls-springs, oil-grease-dry
silicone lube(all at different times) new disc adjusted
them tight-loose. No luck for about 10-15 years. It does
get flustrating having to back up every time you use the
brakes.
