Thanks for all the input. The SA that is still together and that has the very low oil pressure after being worked hard, supposedly had a rebuilt engine when I got it. Makes you wonder just what some peoples meaning of "rebuilt" is. Ill get to that problem later. Its funny, you can run it all day under light load and you'll have just about half scale oil pressure. But when you really work it, it goes to zippo. Oil heats up & thins down and I guess it just spills out of larger than normal clearances instead of staying on its track to the next item thats needs lubrication. Is that about right? And is the way this particular tractor is behaving a tell tail sigh of large oil clearences? The one in my hand, from the other SA just has a littlr wear onit. Of all the machines in the shop, the one I lack is a surface grinder. I do have a friend around the corner that has a Harig 612. Guess Ill pay him a visit. Thanks Again, scott#2
