I have this thing in pieces on the bench. Looking at the gear side of the cover plate, I am holding a precision Starrett square on edge across the face. The only light I see is where the gears have milled a .001 - .003 semi circle (load side) into the face of the cover. I can't see or rock with the square, any warpage. This thing had half scale oil pressure when I got it but I never worked it hard like the other SA which drops to probably 10 psi or less at full throttle when I plowed deep with it last year. (suspect it's warped and needs attention) Would you put it back together and go on? Or would you lap the cover back down to true flat? Thank You, scott#2
