I know its not an IH tractor but..

Perhaps some of you knowledgeable and helpful guys will have an answer to this one. I have a 1963 Chev 35 one ton with 292 engine. It starts and idles fine but misses and f**ts horribly with any throttle opening at all. I have replaced condenser, coil, lead from coil to distributor, fuel filter with no effect.
Cap, rotor and points and plugs look fine but plugs were sooty. Took the top off the carb and blew air through main jet - no difference. These are a pretty simple and basic engine but I am stumped. Help!!
