The FBK is the model code for a Farmall M, and the s/n 215676 indicates a early 1950 tractor assembly date. The X1 suffix to the s/n means the tractor was built by the factory for use with gasoline in lieu of other fuel types. If the casting code information you provided is really a "S" and not the "8" you posted the block was cast on Dec. 29, 1949 which would be consistant with your tractor. I think there was a large Farmall plant in Rock Island, Illinois where it might have been built and other plants were in Chicago and Louisville, Ky but I don't know which models were built where and during what years.
