Most cars, old tractors and trucks all have that same setup where the solenoid feeds voltage to the ignition switch. Glad you found the problem. I just received an email from a man in VA that had a Cub and couldn't get fire to the ignition. He had emailed several weeks ago and I kept telling him to find the wire that goes to the hot terminal on the solenoid and trace it. He had just found a wire that was from the solenoid to the switch was broken and had been covered with black tape. The engine started right up. Hal
