I have been posting over the last few months about my H carb problems ( working on it when I get time). Thanks for all your help!!! I have been able to get it to run pretty well!!! Before, it wouldn't idle down in the 400's. I found I had a ( WRONG) long screw/plug in the top carb half that was cutting off the idle air so I replaced it with the correct (short) one. I replaced the throttle shaft bushing and reamed it to size, replaced the throttle butterfly (NOS) and that little brass valve on the lower half (NOS). I put in a brand new IH float (it came set to the right height, I measured) and a new IH carb kit. Everything is great except it leaks from the bottom of the carb where the brass nut(that screws into the main jet)!!!! I have replaced the washer/ gaskets I don't know how many times. I am going crazy!!!!! Any ideas? Thanks!!
