I have searched hi and lo for the mark on the flywheel that you line up with the tab on the cover. I swear it is not there. Cleaned, rubbed polished searched, searched, searched. It just aint happenin. Does anyone know hom many degrees btdc or atdc or is it at dead tdc that # 1 fires at? In other words, does anyone know exactly where in the stroke, #1 piston is, when that elusive mark on the flywheel is lined up? I need to at least static time this thing before I try to fire it up. After that, I suppose I can mark the flywheel or pully and then check the advance, if it uses advance? Thanks for any help, scott#2
