In addition to what John has recommended you need to remove the oil filter cap and fill the housing
and replace the top. The Cubs are known for losing their oil pressure. I would keep these tips so if it happens again you will be prepared.
Keep an eye on the oil pressure during the initial startup. Some owners have had this problem after changing oil too. I think the way the pump is installed may cause the problem. Most oil pumps are always vertical. Bolted to the bottom of block. Hal
