h trans lock up

it all started about a week ago i asked my son (11 yrs old) to hop on the old h amd move it about 75 foot. it moved without any problems as usual ok now two days later went to use the tractor it wouldnt start acted like dead battery so i put the charger on for three hours still no start got to messing with it and found that if you pushed the clutch in it would start just fine long story a little shorter i found that the drive shaft(52945d) had broken several teeth off also that the pto shaft would turn a3/4 round the lock up also when you were turning the pto shaft (engaged) the right brake pedal would move up and down about an inch any ideas? i keep turning the pto shaft back and fourth and it finally came loose. but it will still lock sometimes but is "gratie feeling " any ideas? many thanks terry t all locked up in middle tenn
