Hey that sounds like a pretty robust solution. I need a hover mechanism as well. Does this make the blade a full 3" higher or is that pipe bolted to the bottom but sort of to the back? The reason I'm asking is 3" seems a little high to hover the blade. My needs are such that I need to be able to engage and disengage the hovering. I take it you're not doing any plowing on asphalt. Before this post, I was thinking about doing it with 3" dolly wheels but your solution sounds stronger. Anyone else with an add-on solution to this problem?
