replace and tighten fan belt Farmall H

I need to replace the fan belt on the Farmall H and how to tighten it up after, it don"t have a tension device on it, also I need the lenght or p/n of belt.
I have rebuilt the generator, starter,and new battery cables, when I shut off the engine the amp meter showes a -20amp, with the generator belt off the generator runs like an electric motor. Has anyone had this happen and how to fix?
