After about 2 years of work on this silly thing, I finally got it running today. After a stuck carb float and a few other little things, she fired right up. Ran it for about 20 minuites or so, re adjusted the valves, looked all around for leaks, etc. Started it back up again and let it get to operating temperature and then I noticed a drop of oil on the ground, then another and so on. Seems the front main engine seal (newly installed)is leaking. So close but yet so far away. All that was left to do was paint one wheel and put the decals on. Guess I'll wait till spring for this one. Any trick to that main seal that I don't know about? sott#2
