Broken Ram on 300 Utility

I couldn't imagine that a ram could destroy it's self. I was using my box scraper and put too much down force I guess, (enough to start lifting rear of the tractor) and POW the end of the ram that attaches to the tractor broke in half. Parts hit my leg and what a surprise. Well what next, buy a new ram or can just the part that broke be replaced? Any comments?
