Field resistor for generator???

I'm completely new to Farmall Cubs. This site has provided more information than I could have ever imagined. I have a 1949-50 Cub. The generator wasn't working so I cleaned it up and now it's mint. The only other thing not working is the LOW charge option. The field resistor was shot, and all attempt to read the resistance on the original have failed. Can someone tell me what the field resistor resistance should be to cut the generator from high to low charge??
