Using Ethanol in an M distillate

I've got a question. My tractor is an M distillate and I've read in the archieves about the true mixtures of the so called "Trash Gas" and how it was used in a tractor like this (49M)

So I got to thinking....which..wasn't very smart :) about using unleaded with 10% ethanol in the tractor.

What are the effects of using unleaded gas with ethanol in this tractor and what about the use of E-85 gas in a distillate tractor?

Any thoughts or experience?
