farm-all 230

Hi; We have a 1957 farm-all 230 wide front that hasn't run for 20+years now we have been offered good $ to sell it as is but we (My brothers and I) are planning on restoring it. the engine has a cracked block and is stuck the tires are rotted off of it and it is pretty rusty- here is the question'(s) what motor will work in it i have a line on a newer motor that is out of a c that is supposed to work but there needs to be some machining done on the throw-out bearing? that's what the fellow told me needed to be done for it to work it has a spin off oil filter the other motor that i found is off a 140 that id supposed to work? the first one can be purchased for 500.00 the other 1200.00 (Exchange) can somone help me out here? thanks in advance
