Bill: Sounds like you got yourself a decent little tractor. I'm curious about this number 149, just where is that located and is it cast in place or stamped. Most of my experience has been with C-113, C-123 then up to C-169 an onward, thus I've never been up close on a C-135. My tractors all have that cubic inch figure cast in place 3/4" high digets and the C is infront of the number. You didn't indicate whether the 149 had C infront of it. Now my carburated tractors have been all older than your 404, thus that practice could have been dropped. One exception was a 504 and I didn't keep that one long enough to remember.
