I think that the engine in the 460 diesel is worth rebuilding. But I have a few questions. When you roll the engine over to start it, does it sound like it has even compression on all 6 cylinders or like 1 cylinder is weak? Is 1 cylinder missing or more than 1? Does it get better or worse as it warms up? Do you know if the head gasket is leaking? Is it blowing a lot of white smoke? You could have a fairly simple easy to fix issue. Did it start missing all of a sudden or just get worse over time?
