Pertronix electronic ignition problems 6v

I have just bought the pertronix electronic ignition for my farmall
H. I removed the points and installed everything properly per the
instructions and nothing. The tractor has no fire at all. The system
is a 6v postive ground. Was wondering if I needed a new coil? I am
just using the standard coil that was on the tractor when the points
were in use. Also I did some testing and the power going into the
pertronix unit is the full 6 volts, but coming out of the unit to the
coil is only about 4.4 or so. If anyone has any suggestions that
would be great. Thanks
