I drove an H with front and rear cultivators with the delay valve. Seems it worked sometimes and sometimes not. I think we gave up on it. I don't know if I knew about the "hold at last position" feature. I would "bump" it down by pushing the rod forward and then back to the neutral position, same way with raising it. Did that only when I did not have the depth set right with the adjustments/levers on the cultivator itself, or because of varying soil conditions; but I do remember that sometimes the cultivator would not drop all the way until I pushed again (if I remember right), been 50 years, can't remember what I did this morning. Perhaps I had found the last position thing and didn't realize it until now--too late.
