I have to disagree on the sequential lowering. The two ball valves on the belly pump valve body are actuated by a rocker lever and will let the front of a cultivator down first and raise the back last if everything is working right.

There is also a "hold at last position" where the unit will let the cultivator (or other cylinder) down till it stops then hold it there instead of letting it down farther. It is aggravating on my haybine if I let it down on a terrace and don't get the lever pushed in past the last stop.
