Got me, Tractor sat for 6 years in a shed with a bad engine. I buy the goofy thing, throw an engine, clutch and T/A in it, test the hydraulics with a flow rater which says we have 2100 psi and away we go. I later realize that the 3 point will not stay up when the tractor is shut off (drops like a rock). Further, it "hunts" to hold position when the tractor is running. I run the trouble tree and everything points at a leaky hitch piston. Okay, I plow 100 acres with the spinner plow this spring, which uses the hitch as well as the remotes. Everything seems to work just fine as long as the engine is reved up. Now, the last few days I notice that the darned hitch is okay but the remotes seem a little weak in the knees. What's going on?
