Good morning friends, day 5 since stroke, doing quite well, had my cat scan yesterday, physical in the am, am now on a blood pressure med, and an aspirin a day. Still head achy but improving. Found out an interesting thing from new doctor, he said he couldn't understand why I wasn't on meds because my last physical showed high BP. I know why..we had an interem doctor when my family doctor rertired, she was only there a few months and moved soon after my physical last April...nobody followed up my med record..however I did nothing either so have to take some of the blame, local drugstore has a BP machine that takes your BP and prints a slip with it on..FREE, takes 15 seconds...REMEMBER IF YOU CAN"T TELL ME WHAT YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE IS WHILE YOU READ MY POST YOU COULD BE IN TROUBLE JUST LIKE I WAS...doing well, take care of yourselves my internet friends will keep on posting..Mike in Exeter Ontario
