So cnks you are saying to pound on the pin head part of the bolt to make it come out the threaded end? As for the packing on the water pump is this what the screw in brass part is around the shaft with notches in it. sorry to be such a pain but I need to get this fixed. The IH dealer quoted me a price of $181.00 for the pully part. that seems like a bit much to me.
