Tried to Tune up the 460.....

Well, the 460 gasser was running pretty rough. I bought a tune up kit, new plugs, new coil, new plug wires, new dist. cap, too. The old plugs looked pretty bad. Couldn't replace the fixed side of the points--kit came with an off-set arm, the one in my distributor is straight, so I polished it up good and reset the gap. Fired her up and she still runs rough, misses some, both at idle and WOT. Lots of black smoke briefly at throttle up. What's next, carb rebuild??
