The low ash oil i am talken about is the case I h low ash for gas tractors . Over the years i have talked with a bunch of old I H mechanics and we have touched the oil thing many times and they all told me the same thing to use the Case I H low ash 30 w. and have had good resualts . Now if you thing that you ate a valve then ya probably did , as we ate three valves in three times on the grindermixer grinding hog feed . So you will have to see . As far as the Lead additive scrap it it is a waist of money and i don't care who's it is go with the 93 octain gas and check your timming for full advance and make sure the centrifcal advance is working inside the dist. You adjust the timming at full throttel to what ever the book sayes for that engine . Make sure that the cooling system is clean and that you have a thermostat in it . If ya have to pull the head make sure that the valve guides are not wore out and if so replace them and use valve stem seals . When doing a valve adjustment look carefully at the rocker arm for ware pattern and try to keep the feeler gauge off the high spots or have the rockers reground to get rid of the ware so that they are flat as it is hard to get a good adjustment if you end up bridgeing and go over the adjustment twice as you will always find a couple that are not just wright.

I tried to use an easy out but it wasn't budging and I didn't want t
