R 2 4 1 3 5. A 350 is red and white, a lot of 300's have been painted that way -- I don't have either, thus I don't know the specific differences except that the 300 has a 169 cu in engine, the 350 a 175. Either C169 or C175 will be cast into the right side of the block toward the rear. The engine could have been replaced. If you can still read the prefix on your serial tag the prefix is F300 or F350, followed by your serial number.
