Just rolled back in here I had to cut the trip short due to a funeral today. However, "I learned" that there are a lots of people across America that messes with "Red" paint other than me. There were some works of art there (the Howard the Cowman) and all of which was better than mine...I found that there were some "serious" restorers. One fellow I met shipped his tractor all the way from NC to Michigan to have it painted!!!!!!and then carted it back. He liked it so well he said "I would appreciate it if you would not touch it" :-) I have always had trouble keeping my hands off beautiful things...I guess that is why I get slapped so much. In addition to the cowman, I stopped by just south of Columbus and picked up a block and saw another exceptional restoration of an H.... Douglas...the young fellow that as having trouble wioth the oil pressure. He cleaned the trash out of the pump and it works just fine. All in all, this was a good experience...lots of nice folks and the expectatons from myself were definitely raised regarding the quality of work I am going to do. Those that did not get to go, you missed a good gathering.
