oil in M belly pump

We have a '50 M with a belly pump that will barely lift the bar on a 115 side mount mower when it gets hot. Presently we run Quiklift in it to match the bigger tractors. Since we never mix the cylinders around anymore would 30w non-detergent help much? How much does the system hold if we do change over? The pump lifts good for about half an hour then fades. I know the pump needs attention but there are too many other irons in the fire right now. Thanks.
