If I had a scanner I would send you the diagram out of the Operator's manual. I type slowly and there is a good chance of mistakes if I try to do it manually. Many other things in the manual you wouldn't know about otherwise. The link is to Bob M's diagrams, it will have one at least similar to what you have, but there are no colors, you will have to trace the wires. As to the switch, what you have is LHDB: Low charge, High charge, dim, bright. This is for a cutout relay on the generator, which your 39 originally had. If it now has a voltage regulator, L and H are the same, as the voltage regulator ones simply had off, dim, bright. If your tractor is wired correcly, the rear light is not affected by the dim position.
