Hard Starting Diesel 340

Lately I've been having trouble starting my diesel 340. I thought it might be the glow plugs but they all check out ok. So I then checked the fuel delivery to see if maybe it lost prime from sitting. I changed the fuel filter and reprimed the fuel system. Still wouldn't start. So I drained the fuel tank and put in fresh diesel and reprimed again. This time it started right up. I figured that the fuel must have gone bad. But now a week later it won't start again. It has always started right up and ran fine. I don't understand why all of sudden it won't start especially with fresh fuel and filter. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing the hard starting?
