It's possible to rig a small belt driven hydraulic pump to run off the generator belt. You just need to make some brackets to mount it and then get a longer belt that will go around both the pump and generator pulley. Northern Tool has small hydraulic pumps designed for belt driven use that I think would work. This way you would have live hydraulics. I've got a tractor that is rigged up this way. I don't think would do for any heavy duty work, but is fine for light lifting.
