I never heard of any organized red/white repaint program, but I've seen a lot of older tractors that got the 350-450 red/white paint scheme. Especially 300's & 400's. It was a way to make a tractor look more up to date.

Repainting tractors was used by many dealers as a way to keep the shop busy when new tractor sales were slow. I've seen some old advertising literature from IH promoting it.

It's your tractor, paint it to suit how you want it to look.
