Red/White Farmall M paint job

I have seen several photos of old M's painted with white paint on the center part of the grill and lower part of the hood below the curving rib. I am thinking this was an IH dealer repaint intended to make the tractor look like the then-newer 460/560. Does any one have any info on this? I would like to paint one of my M's this way as a '1950's-era repaint'.
