Hugh, looking at the TC-39 parts catalog, page 146, it shows both non-pressurized and pressurized caps used after 336711. since my system has no spring under the cap and no water pump, I am assuming it is non pressurized. The old cap looks like the non pressurized kind you see for sale new everywhere, except for the location of the tabs and it does not say "water" on it. I guess I can use a pressurized cap in place of it, even though the system appears to be non pressurized? mike
