Some other questions regarding the hydraulics:

First things first--what weight oil should I be putting in for the hydraulics? I've been using SAE-30.

Is there anyway to "turn-off" or deactivate that pump, without just unbolting the thing from the tractor?

Further back on the tractor is the fill tube for the hydraulic fluid. Mine has a cap with a dipstick (red-oragne cap in the picture). The cap has a small vent hole on the top, and it always has oil weeping out of it when the tractor is running. The oil isn't overfilled. Do I need a new cap, or is there something that screws into the top of the cap to keep the oil from weeping out?
