Thanks for your reply and advice. I got a liitle more agressive and got the seal out. Turns out it was a one piece, two seal unit. Now to find a replacement. The no. on it is 46282-??. I can't make out the digit(s) after the -. I also noticed the shaft is worn slightly wear the seals rode. I'm not sure this will be a problem but do you know the seal No. in say Chicago Rawhide or a source for them? I wonder if anyone makes a speedy sleeve repair kit for this. Thanks again.
