My carb leaks gas out of the big open hole in the back of it. When I look at some pictures of restored tractors I see that there is supposed to be a hose connected to that port horizontally that comes out and bends up vertically and disappears under the hood. I haven't been able to afford all the manuals yet, so I don't have anything to tell me what that hose is for. All I know is it is not on MY tractor. I don't want gas to leak out of there, as I will be driving onto the trailer, and then off and into my garage. So, can I get this hose and hook it up to stop the leak? What is that big hose? Why is there fuel leaking into it?
